Court tells Stephanie Okereke her first marriage was not valid
A high court in Lagos has rendered the first marriage of star actress Stephanie Okereke to footballer Chikelue Iloanusi, null and void. The judge told the actress who had gone to court to divorce Chikelu, that the marriage never existed, so she can't seek a divorce, only an annulment. According to the judge, the marriage between Stephanie and Chikelue wasn't valid because at the time they got married, Chikelu was legally married to another woman in the US.Stephanie and Chikelue had a secret registry wedding some years back but they broke up less than a year later. Now going from the court's judgement, Stephanie is not Chikelue's ex-wife, she was never legally married to him. So when she marries Linus Idahosa, it will be her first legal marriage

See it below...Dear Omoyele Sowore,RE: Sahara Reporters on “Culture of Waste and Insensitivity” and the 18th AU SummitI observe that you have made no effort, following my earlier explanations, to amend your story titled “Culture of Waste And Insensitivity Continues As Mrs. Jonathan Arrives Addis Ababa With 32 Aides” (Sahara Reporters), and have allowed your readers to rely on deliberate misinformation. Churches in Nigeria to stop marrying pregnant brides.
Many Pentecostal and Catholic churches have long stopped marrying brides who are visibly pregnant; though some churches don't have anything against it and still marry pregnant brides. Now I hear after much deliberation, soon no church in Nigeria will be allowed to marry any woman who is obviously pregnant. The woman will have to give birth first before any church is allowed to wed her. But thankfully for some brides, there are other options - court, traditional, garden weddings etc.But what do you think of this? Are churches right in refusing to marry pregnant brides, and why do you think they care whether a bride is pregnant or not.
