2 killed,and several others injured in Ogun

The peaceful protest against the removal of fuel subsidy in Ogun State yesterday tune down to the peopleloss there flow membersand it turned bloody with the reported death of two protesters in Ibafo, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area of the state.

One of those allegedly killed by an unidentified policeman was a Hausa man, Kaola, a diesel dealer at Kara-Ibafo. The late diesel dealer was said to have been shot on the lower and upper part of the chest after protesters blocked the dual expressway.

Eyewitness account told Daily Sun that Kaola met his untimely death, as police deployed in the area attempted to disperse the miscreants who had for longer part of the day mounted barricades on the ever-busy road extorting money from motorists.
The miscreants pretending to be protesters had before the arrival of the police from the state Police Command been terrorizing and extorting motorists and residents. inthe area .
